Abstract

Six bladder carcinoma cell lines were established in culture from male Fischer rats fed N-[4-(5-nitro-2-furyl)-2-thiazolyl] formamide. Five were papillary transitional cell carcinomas by back transplantation and one was squamous. Each has been maintained in culture for more than 4 years. The light, transmission, and scanning electron microscopic features of the cells in culture and transplantation are described.
