Abstract

Bone marrow transplantation is an increasingly. widely applied treatment for patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and Hodgkin's disease1. It is estimated that approximately 3,000-4,000 autologous transplants will be performed worldwide in 1991. The disease most frequently treated will be non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
