Abstract

There have been numerous reports recently concerning the use of physostigmine in reversal of central anticholinergic syndromes produced by drugs with anticholinergic properties. Benzquinamide, first introduced as a tranquilizer and now used as an antiemetic agent, has anticholinergic properties. This is a case report demonstrating the successful reversal of benzquinamide-induced delirium by phosostigmine.
