Abstract

This introductory chapter begins with a discussion of some examples of neuroergonomics research. It then discusses the conceptual, theoretical, and philosophical issues in neuroergonomics; methods used in neuroergonomic research and practice, and the contributions of neuropsychology and related fields (e.g., behavioral neurology, clinical and health psychology, neuropsychiatry, and neurorehabilitation) to neuroergonomics.
