Short term incubation of bone marrow cells for 1 hour at 37°C with hematopoietic growth factors: IL‐3, GM‐CSF, and G‐CSF either alone or in combination augmented GM‐CFC production as measured in the 7 day liquid culture system. The increase of progenitors may lead to shortening of hematopoietic reconstitution in vivo.
