Abstract

Laser‐induced fluorescence spectroscopy was applied in laboratory experiments to find out the possibilities and limits of the in‐situ determination of some quality parameters of inland waters. Simple model calculations are introduced. Laser‐induced fluorescence and Raman signals were measured expecially in dependence on the extinction, concentration and penetration depth. First results of the determination of humic and fulvic acids are given.
