Fungemia due to fusarium solani in an immunocompromised child

Disseminated fusariosis is a rare but reportedly uniformly fatal fungal infection in immunocompro-mised patients. This communication describes the first immunocompromised patient surviving disseminated Fusarium infection and compares the therapy he received with that given in other similar reported cases.
