Abstract

X-Ray emission spectroscopy was used to study features of the electronic structure of the hard cubic alloys NbxTa1-xC. The systematics of the changes in the electronic spectra and interatomic interactions in these ternary phases are discussed in the context of calculations within the framework of the self-consistent LMTO-ASA method.
