Abstract

Ferredoxin from a thermoacidophilic archaebacterium, Sulfolobus acidocaldarius, has been crystallized. The space group is P432l2 or P43212 and the cell dimensions are a=b = 50.12 Å and c = 69.52 Å. The Vm value is calculated to be 1.88 Å3/Da, assuming one molecule per asymmetric unit. The crystal diffracts X-rays beyond 2.0 Å resolution.
