Abstract

Costello: Much has been written about the information explosion and the problem of locating the latest and most meaningful information on a given subject. This panel will concentrate on an important subproblem in this field, namely, the classification schemes necessary to aid in the location of algorithms and/or programs that will perform a particular task on a particular machine.
