An educational application of the social comparison method

Abstract

A practical procedure for setting and evaluating academic objectives in programs for the mildly handicapped is introduced. The social comparison method is a procedure which uses normative peer data to establish measurable criteria. Recommended practices and additional advantages are briefly reviewed.
